Language Courses in Barcelona

Would you like to improve your knowledge of Spanish, English, Dutch, Italian, Catalan, Portuguese, Russian, Chinese or Japanese? This is very easy at Backuplines. We offer several language courses, each tailored to your level, learning pace and personal preference. Backuplines is a firm believer in ¨Learning by Doing¨- our philosophy is that you learn a foreign language like you learn a sport: by practicing a lot. That is why the focus of the language courses lies in improving your listening and speaking skills. Before you begin the group course, we determine your starting level by means of an oral test.

Group courses

Would you like to attend a language course with more people? This is possible by means of in-company courses. In a group of maximum 10 students, you will learn rapidly in classes that are fun and taught by our native teachers. Each class lasts 55 minutes, although you can also choose to take two consecutive hours of classes. You may start the course any time of year.

Immersion courses

Would you like to make big improvements to your Spanish or English in a short period of time? Then you can choose an immersion course: for one week, or just a weekend, you will stay in a luxurious apartment where you will learn the specific skills that you wish to improve. Prior to the course, you set the personal goals you wish to achieve. The program will then be tailored to these goals. Each day you get four hours of intensive language classes. These classes are complemented with cultural activities in Barcelona. The spoken language during this course is always your target language.

The immersion week starts on Monday morning and ends on Friday afternoon. The immersion weekend starts on Friday evening and ends on Sunday afternoon. The maximum group size is 4 people. During the immersion course everything is taken care of: accommodation, catering, etc.

In combination with these language courses, Backuplines also offers telephone courses. These courses can be taken from the comfort of your own living room or office.

Blended learning

Combine any course so it suits you best. Teacher at your office after work and lunch time conversation by phone with another teacher. Or maybe a weekly business lunch in your target languages so as to do business and network with other students of your professional profile.
